Wave 2 IDW Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog Figures

The Wave 2 IDW Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog Figures are a product mockup of various characters from the beloved IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comics, designed as 4-inch figures in tandem with the release of issue #100, offering fans a new way to engage with their favorite characters.

The purpose of this project was meant for the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog fans to have action figures of the current original characters originating from the comics similar to how the Metal Virus Sonic, Tangle the Lemur, and (as of Dec 2025) soon to be released Whisper the Wolf 4 inch action figures ideally around when issue #100 is released within the next few years. with the semi solid deadline established this allows for actual manufacturing and designing of the product to have plenty of wiggle room for when it gets made. the character choices were made as the first wave of figures (not featured on this website) were Tangle the Lemur (now official), Whisper the Wolf (currently a official prototype) and Surge the Tenrec have already been worked on so I personally chose the next wave of popular characters to complement the original wave. these include Surge's Hydrokinetic sidekick Kitsunami the Fennec, the Leader of the Restoration Lanolin the Sheep and Mr. Tinkerer's marionette daughter Belle the Tinkerer. a mockup of a poster was also designed to emulate previous action figure advertisement as well as using fan made figures as stand-ins for what the actual figures will be displayed as.
